This was the mid-century catch that University of Adelaide academic architect Dr James Curry elaborates on in explaining the current exhibition ‘Lust for Lifestyle’ he curated for the State Library. Join James for a special tour in which he discusses the people with both old and new money who commissioned leading architects such as John Chappell, Robin Boyd, Peter and Muller to build exciting houses that responded to not only international design trends but also local climatic and environmental factors.
